Can anyone recommend a (good!) NHS dentist in West Norwood?

There are a few listed, but I am terrified so need a particulary good one. My old dentist has gone private and want £60 for a check up alone!!!

Need to see someone soon, as have a hole and a mild toothache...

I have recently moved to West Norwood in the last 6 months and have seen that there are a few units on the Norwood Road that are empty.

Was excited to see that the old Co-Op was being renovated but bitterly disappointed to see it became 'This That and the Other', a tacky pound shop.

We need more Beamish and McGlue's and other local businesses, and even some chains to move invest in the area.

Like it or not Tesco and Sainsbury's would generate great revenue for the community and why on earth do we have 2 Somerfield's within 5 minutes walk from another? One is plenty surely.

I know that Tesco are opening an express store at the old Jack Stamps, and what is happening with the new flats / retail units at Tulse Hill end just before the railway bridge opposite Elmcourt Road? Please don't let it be another This That and the other!

Any ideas?
